Todd E. Rains

Chief Administrative Officer

As Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick’s Chief Administrative Officer, Todd works with the firm’s chief operating officer and other c-level individuals in carrying out the directives of Shumaker’s Management Committee. He oversees the firm’s office administrators and assists with their day-to-day management of the firm’s multiple office locations. Firm wide, Todd manages Shumaker’s various liability and property insurance policies, capital budgets, capital improvements, office lease administration, business continuity, and other special projects as dictated by the needs of the firm.

Todd has been in law firm management for nearly 20 years, including several years of business and services industry management and supervisory experience prior to returning to law firm management in 1999. His years of professional services management, working with professional services firms, involving operating and managing small businesses, and his business and operational knowledge helps drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Todd has been a member of the Association of Legal Administrators since 1999 and has served on various committees and held several local chapter officer positions. He is active in his local church. Although work has always been a high priority, Todd enjoys time playing golf, soaking in his hot tub and spending time raising his beautiful daughter.
